Better Together: grow, adapt, connect
Individual and couples therapy for new beginnings.

My philosophy
I believe that great changes and deep relationships don’t happen alone.
At Better Together, I´m here to support you, listen, and help you find calm, clarity, and connection every step of the way.
About Me
I’m Ximena Pérez, an individual and couples therapist, a social and cultural anthropologist, and I hold a master’s degree in Sexology and Sexual and Relationship Health Promotion.
At Better Together Therapy, I support individuals and couples through processes of change, growth, and emotional well-being.
I offer individual therapy with a special focus on international students and expats navigating life in a new cultural environment.
I know what it means to start from scratch — I’ve lived in four different countries and spent over ten years living alone in Europe, far from my native Guatemala.
I understand loneliness, migration grief, and the challenges of building a sense of belonging. That’s why I offer a warm, safe therapeutic space where you can feel supported, understood, and empowered as you create a life that feels like your own.
Love is not something you find — it’s something you build.
I also work with couples who want to strengthen their bond, reconnect emotionally, or move through a period of conflict. I’ve developed my own therapeutic program, based on attachment theory, which I adapt to each couple’s specific dynamics and goals.
I work on communication, relationship patterns, and emotional connection, fostering a love that is healthy, deep, and lasting.
I believe love is not something you find — it’s something you build. And it’s built with commitment, respect, communication, and mutual admiration.
Whether you’re going through a personal transition or looking to grow in your relationship, at Better Together I’m here to support you.
You don’t have to do it alone.

Feeling at home begins within:
by listening to yourself, caring for yourself, and showing yourself love.
